A formal ministerial record of 12-week supervised church, chaplaincy, hospice, and community practicum hours required for Level 6 & Level 5 qualifications.
The Field Ministry Practical Attachment is an indispensable curriculum requirement under the TVETA-CDACC competency-based framework at Truthwell Theology Training Institute. Its primary aim is to integrate theological classroom reflection with real-world pastoral care, pulpit proclamation, and institutional counseling.
1. Core Objectives:
- Spiritual & Ministerial Formation: Cultivate prayerful devotion, emotional resilience, and servant leadership modeled after Jesus Christ.
- Expository Communication: Prepare, preach, and teach sound biblical doctrine in church services, mid-week fellowships, and Bible studies.
- Pastoral Care & Counseling: Undertake hospital bedside visitation, home visitations, marital mentorship, bereavement solace, and youth discipling.
- Ecclesiastical Administration: Participate in church board meetings, record keeping, financial stewardship, Sunday school administration, and community outreach.
2. Ministerial Ethics & Code of Conduct:
Every Truthwell student on field attachment remains an ambassador of Jesus Christ and Truthwell Theology Training Institute. Students must maintain absolute financial integrity, moral purity, strict pastoral confidentiality, humility, and prompt obedience to the host Senior Pastor / Field Supervisor.
